I scanned this in from the shortlist magazine as it reminded me of the popular culture lecture, where popular culture becomes high culture, in the example of Banky's work being sold. This hotel started out as high culture, as it is a 'boutique guesthouse', and then something that started off as being popular culture - graffiti - has been turned in to art, and used to decorate half of this hotel room, making it seem even more important and high culture, as it now contains art.
